What Could This Headache Mean?
So for the past few weeks my girlfriend has been having really bad headaches…like so bad that at the worst parts she was crying because of the pain, which was exacerbated by sound and if she moved around. I’ve been urging her to go to the hospital, but she didn’t want to. Yesterday she went to the ER because it hurt so bad, and they put her on several painkillers and fluids (including morphine) via IV, none of which helped. She had a CT scan done which turned out negative. They could not find the reason for her pain, and sent her home to see if her primary care doctor could figure it out today. They drew a good deal of blood for testing. She has to see a neurologist…any clue what some of the possibilities could be?
